Getting Botox at SL Clinic

It's no secret that I am a huge fan of Botox and that I have done several procedures before. It has helped me achieve a slimmer jawline that I have always wanted. I used to have a much rounder face shape, not that there is anything wrong with that, but I prefer a softer V-shape feature.

Basically, Botox is a substance that is able to treat numerous medical conditions. It is also used for aesthetic applications that reduce the appearances of facial wrinkles and fine lines. In my case, Botox was used to reduce muscle contraction in my jaw, which overtime, results in a slimmer jaw.

As with every aesthetic procedure, it is essential to do your research and visit the right doctor. A doctor's experience in this field is very important, as he/she will be able to assess how many units of Botox one needs, instead of jabbing too many units, which may cause the muscle to slack.

Waiting for my consultation with Dr. Kelvin Chua at SL Clinic.

Dr. Kelvin Chua has over 11 years of experience in the aesthetic medicine field, so you can be assured that you will get the best results, hence there is nothing to even worry about stepping into SL Clinic. He was highly knowledgeable and experienced when assessing how many units of Botox and fillers I needed, I didn't feel worried at all.

One of the top questions I always get from you guys regarding Botox and fillers is "Is it painful?” Well, no! If you're fearful of the pain, then you can always ask for numbing cream. I personally don't need it any more cause the injection really only feels like an ant bite. But it also depends on individual and how high your tolerance of pain is. I find it helpful to count in my head while the needle goes in; it takes my mind off the injection.

So far, I haven't experienced any side effects from any aesthetic procedures. Except the filler incident that Dr. Chua managed to save me from as well! haha you can read about it here. Generally, side effects are rare and close to none if you visit the right doctor. You know what they say - prevention is better than cure! I cannot stress enough on how important it is to do your research or visit a reputation clinic like SL Clinic.

Thank you Dr. Kelvin Chua for helping me feel confident!

So that's about it! My fillers usually last anywhere from 6 months to a year and the Botox usually lasts for 4 to 6 months. It all depends on individual and how fast the substances break down naturally in your body. After which, I will definitely be back! Which reminds me, these aesthetic stuffs can get pretty addictive but I'm glad that Dr. Chua is there to stop me when I want too much done to my face. He also prefers the natural outcome and wants what's best for his patients.
