Coco Life

Advertorial

Apart from Fruit Punch, Chrysanthemum Iced Tea and Iced Milo, Coconut Water has always been one of my favourite drinks since I was a kid. I remember being about 7 years old the first time I drank it.  I was so drained out and dehydrated after a long and tiring day at the beach under the scorching sun. The moment I had my first sip of coconut juice, I immediately felt revitalized and was in love with its unique taste.

Over the years however, it became tough to find a store selling natural coconut water! These days, I'd turn to convenience stores if I need to satisfy my coconut water craving. However, it's never the same and I'm sure you can all agree with me on this. The canned or bottled coconut juices we usually find in those stores are always a lot sweeter or they just don't taste as authentic as the natural ones.

HEALTHY

Most of those "juices" are manufactured with artificial flavours, all in the hopes of making them taste better. Well, we can't deny that they taste good but they're also undeniably unhealthy. Hence, if you're seeking a healthier coconut juice alternative, you may want to give Coco Life a go. It's a new coconut water product that is made from 100% natural coconut water with no fat, no cholesterol and no artificial flavours.

CONVENIENT

I enjoy CocoLife's petite and handy packaging that allows me to bring it along in my bag where ever I go. It's funny how I can enjoy the water that tastes so light and refreshing just like the real coconut without the hassle of having to chop it open. Since it's so portable, I can enjoy it any time, anywhere! I'll probably stock up a couple of cartons (Which are eco-friendly too! So adorable!) in my fridge so that I can have one whenever I want to. They have a shelf life of about 12 months ;)

Do you know that CocoLife contains only 3.9g of sugar compared to other brands with 8.6g?

HYDRATING/ REFRESHING

You all know what it feels like to live in a hot and humid environment. Singapore is the epitome of it. You may think that you're fine but do you know that as long as you're feeling thirsty, you're actually already dehydrated? It is important to stay hydrated because our bodies depend on water to survive. It uses water to maintain body temperature, remove waste, and lubricate joints. If we don't replace the water we lose, we are putting our health at risks.

I know that many of you may not fancy drinking just plain water, but fret not! You can always substitute it with other options like juices, milk or tea. But some times, these options may add extra calories to your diet. However, CocoLife ensures that it'll be able to keep you feeling fully hydrated without adding any extra calories since it's fat free! I really like the idea of being able to drink a juice at any given time whenever I'm feeling thirsty.

Do you know that CocoLife is HPB certified and is a Healthier Choice product?

BEAUTY BENEFITS

Do you know that coconut water can be used as a beauty supplement? It contains cytokines and lauric acid, two important elements used in the process of cell growth, thus minimizing skin aging, balances PH levels and keeps the connective tissue hydrated and strong!

You’ll also be happy to know that regular consumption of coconut water increases the metabolism rate, which helps to burn sugar at a faster rate. Drinking coconut water helps one gain more energy while losing fat faster at the same time!

I like to drink coconut water whenever it’s that time of the month (if you know what I mean). My tummy tends to get really bloated and it’s so uncomfortable! I’m sure you girls have experienced that before. But I’ve recently found out that coconut water helps to minimize flatulence that causes bloating. How wonderful!

I can totally foresee myself drinking more coconut water, and no doubt, CocoLife will be my desired choice!

CocoLife is available in 330ml for SGD$1.50 per pack at major supermarkets. For more information, head over to: https://www.facebook.com/CocolifeSG.

  2. It actually has added sugar so the 100% coconut water label is misleading.
