My break is FINALLY hereeeee!!!!!
Its only for 2 weeks though, and i still gotta do lots of work and head back to school one of these days to complete a group project too :( But its okay!! Having a slice of cake is better then none anyway^^
I have a bit of time now and i decided to blog about something a little more different this time.
I am certain that it will be of beneficial to you :)
Here's a list of the 11 BEST movies i've ever watched in no particular order.
Yes, they are all inspirational, tear-jerking movies that touches your heart, questions your mind and changes your attitude towards life. Why am i doing this? Simply because i think it is important to share what is good with others then keeping it to yourself. Wouldn't it be great if everybody could feel what you felt when you watched a great movie??

Without further ado, let's get the ball rolling!
(p.s. There are MANY great movies out there, but these are just a few inspirational ones that i can't forget... there are more too, but i just can't remember what they are)
1) WARRIOR (2011)
I just watched this movie yesterday night with Fai and i cried like a baby at the end of it.
ITS SO TOUCHING.
"Warrior tells the story of two estranged brothers entering a mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament and deals with the brothers' struggling relationship with each other and with their father."
It's such an intense movie and throughout i was just praying that no body dies at the end. The ending scene was incredibly sad and it proves that nothing is more powerful then kinship and forgiveness.
AND THE ENDING SCENE.
(if you don't want me to spoil the movie, don't watch it)

2) The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012)
Starring Joel Edgerton once again, he now plays a father in this touching movie about parenting. What i love about this movie? It talks a lot about being yourself and accepting others for who they are. Also, there's a lot of Hope, Patience and Joy in it. It also made me cry at the end of it. I love a heartwarming movie like this and i am sure you will too! Especially since its by Disney :)

3) Gridiron Gang (2006)
Based on a true story, a football team is built in at a juvenile detention centre. With the passion and perseverance of a guard working at the centre (Dwayne Johnson), he manages to change the mindset of the inmates, making them better people.

4) The Impossible (2012)
Based on a true story as well, this movie is about how one family survived the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami. I cried like mad. Not only because of how the family were united again or how badly injured they were. But because of how many lives were lost during that tragedy and how everything was destroyed..
I was telling Fai, if i was older when the tsunami hit southeast asia, i would have gone and help the people there too. THIS IS A MUST WATCH MOVIE. Especially if you live in SEA.
Maybe in a future tragedy (lets hope there isn't any), more of us would go and do what we can for those who are in need.

5) Moneyball (2011)
Starring Brad Pitt, he builds a winning team with players that aren't even paid for that much.
How does it do it? By believing, perservaring and fighting for what he knows and ultimately, staying true to his roots in the end.
Has a little bit of comedy in it as well, very light hearted and keeps you on the edge a lot. I mean, come on! With Brad Pitt as the lead, you know that its a good movie.

6) Parental Guidance (2012)
This may look like just a usual family-comedy movie. But there's so much more to that.
Its kinda like how a love one does something for you without expecting anything in return. It shows a lot about unconditional love and being selfless. Once again, i cried at the end too :)

7) Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
Its really crazy how this movie is based on a true story. How did one man go from being homeless to becoming a stock broker? This movie tells about perseverance once again. To be hardworking and fighting for what you want. I can't forget this movie, and i've watched it like over 3 times and I still cry every time. Really amazing and so inspirational. Every time i watch it, i wanna work even harder and harder.

8) We Brought A Zoo (2011)
"It tells the story of Mee and his family who just moved into a dilapidated zoo and took on the challenge of preparing the zoo for its reopening to the public." And this is a TRUE STORY. A family actually really bought a zoo. What i liked about it? It talks a lot about courage. How one man carried on living and giving more to his children after losing this wife. Ending scene was so sad, i cried too. haha

9) The Guilt Trip (2012)
I love this movie!!! Its super hilarious and really touching at the same time. I think everyone can relate to this movie. You'll be able to see yourself and your mom in any of the scenes. hahaha
But it is also REALLY subtly sad at one particular point of the movie. Literally, my heart melted and my eyes started to tear when it came to that point of the show.

The next 2 movies are rather Christian-base and i guess most people wouldn't really get it since its pretty religious. But no harm sharing right? After all it teaches a lot about hope, love, patience, believing. I love them a lot and you can play it over and over again and i wouldn't get tired of it. One of it actually changed my life before too :)
10) Facing The Giants (2006)
This is an inspirational movie that you can never get tired off. Whenever i am down, i listen to its soundtrack and im back up again. REALLY. If you have that much believe that you can overcome your fears and troubles and worries, you will be able to do it. Thats how i stay optimistic :)
MUST WATCH movie. The soundtrack is beautiful, i know every song. hehehe
"Out of all the voices calling out to me, I will choose to listen and belief the voice of truth"

11) Fire Proof (2008)
This was the movie that changed my life :) Its basically about relationship and how to make yourself a better person not just for your partner but for yourself as well. Ever since a series of events happened to me during that period, i guess things really got better. And its all thanks to this inspirational movie:)
And that's it folks!!!!
