I'm 20 this year and I am trying my best to do the right things and make good choices in life.
Modeling has been a great platform for me to showcase what I am worth, not to just everyone out there, but to myself as well. I am proud to say that I will not be who I am today without it. I have learnt too much and now its a part of me that I never want to lose.
Every thing began back in late 2010. A friend of mine told me that I should try modeling out for web stores which were picking up in the industry back then. I did. Got my first shoot. Got hooked. Haven't stopped since. And never regretted.
Modeling- be it professionally, or for web stores a.k.a blogshops, definitely opens tons of doors for a relatively young girl (since i started at 16). Wasn't easy at first, didn't know what to expect and what people expected of me.
It has though, made me a stronger, wiser and a more efficient individual who strives to succeed more often to uphold my image. It can be rather tiring but everything pays off in the end and I can never ever imagine my life without it now that I am so immersed into the industry.
Character wise, I have become more confident, which helped me to carry out my daily routines more effectively. Such as being more self-aware during school presentations and in my working life. It has also strengthen my desire to excel in the varies competitions that I have joined- Vaunt 6 (in which I'd immerge as the winner) and NewPaperNewFace2012 (Finalist).
