Ditch the Stilettos and Suits, and visit Holland V! X Cassia Accessories

The first and last time I went to Holland V dates back to when I was just 17. Illegal, broke and unaware of what to do. I remember feeling so "cool" walking down the streets of bars and restaurants with my old friends, we were longing to get inside those bars for a couple of brinks but were way too afraid of getting asked to show our IDs. So.. we left the premises and hung out at the nearby Starbucks instead like how kids should do. hahaha.

I've never stepped foot into Holland V ever since and I actually don't know why.. it just never crossed my mind I guess? Whenever my friends and I needed a spot to hang out at over the weekends, we would automatically head to Clarke Quay. Coming back to Holland V after a good 3 years (I mean I've been there other times in the day for shoots and events, just not to hang out at the bars...) made me realised that it's such a great nightspot to be at! I was surprised at how crowded the place was, it was bursting with energy and laughter. The whole atmosphere felt so positive. It didn't feel like that 3 years back when I was walking down the lanes with my old underaged friends. hahaha. Maybe because we all felt intimidated by the mature crowd.

Holland V is a great place to chill at with your friends. I would say that it's a place one would hang out at over the weekends without the need to actually dress up. Put the stilettos and suits aside, you don't need to really dress up if you're planning to visit Holland V for a drink any time soon. I mean, it'll be great if you look presentable but people just don't bother about what they're wearing there. I was just wearing a tube top and flare pants with flats and I already felt overdressed! hahaha. Basically, Holland V feels like a nightspot at Bali or something so you can come on down with just flip flops and shorts, and you'll definitely blend in. Besides, you might end up having to sit outdoors so it's too hot to dress up anyway!
As mentioned earlier, Holland V was really crowded so we couldn't find a place to sit at, hence we ended up at Everything With Fries (EWF) hahahaha. Okay okay, we just didn't know where to go either. Don't judge, we're newbies. hahaha. The EWF there was different tough. Well, its serves alcohol and there are more options on their menu compared to the usual EWF Fai and I would visit at Orchard Central. But....the food's alright, nothing really special. Honestly, I prefer the choices at OC even though there are fewer varieties there. I hated what I ordered. I had steak and it was so freaking tough, it took me forever to ripped it apart and chew. Also, some parts of it were burnt -.- Not a great way to start my night but at least the ambience and company made up for it.
I love this picture of Fai and I <3 We look unusually fair huh? hehehe
With my bbgirls Raine and Jas <3
It's been forever since we last hung out. Time flies and it hasn't sunk in to me that we've all graduated from school already! Well.. they have. Not me. Maybe that's why. hahaha. Everyone's slowly moving on in their own lives and we all agree that we're growing so old. I remember when we would party almost every week at Helipad and now, we would just looking forward to chilling at bars instead. I agree that it keeps me MUCH sober and I'm definitely kept away from those nasty hangovers, but I still want to be young! And I still want to party while I can. Maybe just not as much as we used to anymore.
I have no idea when I started liking the idea of drinking beer over vodka mixes or even cocktails! I think I've reached the age where I realised how nice it is to just hang out with a couple of friends with a really nice chill drink by our sides. Save the vodka mixes for the clubs and don't even think about serving me cocktails. hahaha. I've kinda grown to hate it and it's such a waste of money!!

Anyway, the point is, Holland V's an awesome place to be at on a Friday/Saturday night if you want to head out but the idea of dressing up is a little too much for you. It gets crowded fast (maybe this is due to the World Cup phenomenon) so get there before the crowd does. There's only so much I can say since I've only been there to chill at once so far. So if you have any suggestions of where my friends and I can head to the next time, do let me know!:)

Have a great week ahead everyone!

Xoxo,

Cassia Accessories
Cassia (pronounced "key-see-uh") is an online retail store specialising in handbags and jewellery for women. Based in Singapore, it was founded on the love for accessories and driven on the basis that the importance of accessorising should never be underestimated. While clothes are essential in fashion and style, accessorising is usually what converts into a brilliant outfit!

The Cassia Team strives to bring you the latest fashion accessories that are stylish and trendy, yet affordable. We are constantly looking out for the hottest trends and sourcing the globe for the most effortlessly chic and timeless pieces to accompany you to work, on a causal day out, or even on a nigh out with the girls.

At Cassia, we believe you shouldn't have to spend a bomb to look fabulous :)
The moment I saw Cassia's site, I know for sure that this is an online store that's really trustworthy. They're the real deal! Not only were they really efficient and easy to work with, they're so passionate and committed to their brand. It's always inspiring to see new shops with this amount of passion.

Another thing that impressed me was the quality of their products. I've picked out two of my favourites pieces from Cassia, a bag and a necklace, and they're so durable and sturdy. Here's a closer look!

Majesty Necklace
I posted this on my Instagram some time back and gained quite a lot of compliments on it. The Majesty Necklace is probably one of the most unique necklaces I've ever own. I don't particularly like green but ever since I'd bleached and dyed my hair green a few months back, I've grown to like it a little. hehe. The green definitely makes this necklace stand out without making it look too gaudy. You'll be happy to know that it's not as heavy as it looks! Yay to comfy gorgeous accessories.

Kim Foldover Satchel in Ivory
I am in love with this satchel!! It's made of a really thick material so it's really sturdy and durable. I was surprised that it really isn't as small as I thought it would be. So I was able to fit all my necessary items into it and a little more! Ivory is always a better alternative colour for purchasing handbags compared to pure white ones. When it gets dirty, it's not that obvious at all. Also, it always looks a little more expensive anyway. hehehe

Unsure of what to pick from Cassia? I've actually picked out some of my favourite pieces to make it easier for you!:) The Velda Red Structured Satchel is such a stunner! Carry that and it'll make ANY outfit look like a million dollars. hehehehe.

Scape Collision 2014 X Charlie's Angels X'mas Dinner X Adverts- Twirling Pastels, Chergallery

*SCAPE Collision 2014
Countdown Party

My new year has been pretty good to me so far. Apart from getting back on track with photo shoots and school, I've also been getting quite a good amount of "me time" for myself lately. If you don't already know, I AM HOOKED ON DANCE MOMS. hehe. I'm happier in a way cause at least I'm in control of my life a little more now. 2013 ended on a really good note and I guess that contributed to a good start of 2014 for me :)

I'd spent the last day of 2013 at *SCAPE Collision Supernova Bash Countdown Party to usher in the new year and I have to say that I was really impressed with it. We all know that getting into clubs during new year's eve is madness and highly impossible without getting stuck in a human traffic or getting jabbed in the eye by someone's elbow.

So this year, I made a point to stay at *SCAPE where I was initially present just to make an "appearance". The other gushers who were there include Naomi, Xavier, Mae, Jian Hao, Ridhwan, Boy Thunder, Daniel Ron, Fallen Superheros and Bancho The Matrep. All of which I've never partied with before. But *SCAPE Collision Party changed it all! We all got to know each other a little more and partied the night away together instead of going separate ways after our appearances.

BTS: Backstage Dressing Room
I kept close to Xavier and Mae the entire time after being invited to join Boy Thunder (BT) on stage for a little game. Which I lost sadly :( Nevertheless, it was great seeing a huge crowd of people present for *SCAPE Collision 2013! The turn out was great and thank you to everyone who came and support us. For those who cheered for me as I walked out to stage, thank you so much!! I felt like a superstar for once. HAHAHA

Honestly, my smile was frozen and I was really nervous! The only thing that kept playing in my head was Freda's (my manager) word of advice before I went on stage- "Stand up straight Eunice, don't slouch cause it's ugly on stage..." If you know me well enough, you can tell ;) Plus I was on stage with the two most confident people ever, Xavier and Mae which made everything even more nerve wrecking. HAHA.

During the course of the game, BT kept asking me questions which fell on deaf ears cause I was too caught up with the game and I just couldn't multi-task at all! He ended up answering himself. HAHA. Poor BT. This just goes to show that I am no super star but I'm glad to be given a taste of stardom in that short 20 minutes. hehe
BTS: Backstage with my Xavier & Mae.
Tried a new hair do that is supposedly inspired by the pin-up girl look. How do you like it? ;) Also, my velvet sequin dress sponsored by http://www.xhysteria.com/ ^^
BTS: Posing for the camera at the #GetYourNeonBooth
And finally, I could enjoy a spectacular view of everyone counting down together to usher in 2014! This year was definitely different from how I count down the previous year. I was at the door selling tickets the previous year and I must say, I prefer the stage a lot more. hahaha. The best part? I could have Fai right next to me this time :)
Thank you Scape for having me! The party turned out way better then any of us expected and the night ended well. Can't believe that it's already a new year and the one thing I wanna take off from my list of things to do this year would be school and driving license. Also, I'm looking forward to a healthier and fitter Eunice. Let's go!!!

Charlie's Angels X'mas Dinner
I've been so busy clearing up everything I have to do before the new year approaches, that I haven't had time to meet up with my friends for Christmas or even new year's eve! It was great to be able to put everything aside for just a few hours to hang out with my Charlie's Angels clan again. It was just a simple X'mas dinner meet up to exchange the gifts we bought for one another. Nonetheless, it was awesome as always.

Channeled on the "SIA wannabe" side of me by pulling my hair back into a half pony tail. hehe
And my lovely friends opening the prezzies I got them! hahaha. Ignore the Sephora bag, I just re-used the packaging cause Laraine's gift was too huge. I got them both bags from Mango & Pull&Bear and apparently according to them and even Fai, I have good tastes in bags. hahaha. New talent spotted!!
Happy Jas posing with the mini VS perfume bottles Laraine & I got for her!^^
Om-nom-nom-nom! Time for dinner! We ate at Shokudo at Cineleisure. This place has got to be one of my most favorite eating spots ever in town. The service is good, their waiters are efficient enough for my impatient tummy, the food is AWESOME, there are lots of varieties and price wise, its worth it! Definitely must give it a go!
MY MUST HAVE CRISPY SALMON ROLLS! Craving for them now just by the sight of it.
We took a stroll around town awhile after that, chatted over ice cream at Cold Stone and headed home.
I wish my life could revolve around more of such chill night out with my girlfriends. I mean when was the last time I ever partied with them?
Top from http://ootd.sg/ and skirt from http://shopjenith.blogspot.sg/ ^^
That's all for now everyone! Thank you for reading! I'm so worried now cause I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to wake up in time tomorrow morning for TP's open house :/ If you're gonna be around, drop by and say hi :) I'm gonna be at the ADM booth in Design School dressed in the (honestly) really fugly pink TP open house school t-shirt. hahaha. Hopefully I'll have time to visit Amore tomorrow cause I'd missed it today :/

Night night everyone! I have like 4 hours to sleep only! Whoops! :/
xoxo
