Maybelline Color Show &
Garnier Olia Exclusive Previews
Hello everyone! The weekend is almost here!! Though that wouldn't be much of a difference for me since I'm SUPER packed with school assignments. In case you're wondering what I am doing right now, allow me to keep you guys updated. Firstly, filming has ended. It's been about 2 weeks now and I'm back in school busy with my Final Year Project (FYP). The project would last for about 4 to 5 months after which, I would probably have about a month off. Then I'm back to completing my internship program (SIP) that I've skipped for filming.
Which means that I will be graduating a year later then my fellow peers cause school will only official end in June for me. Don't fret now, I feel totally fine about that cause I did what I wanted to do, learnt from it and grew a lot as a person. Had I gone with the flow and took up the internship program with the rest of my school mates, things would be A LOT different for me and for my future. More on that when things happen I guess?
So at the moment, between recuperating from the amount of exhaustion I'd experienced from filming and school, I am also taking up more shoots and attending more events too. I'm so glad that I finally have my financial issues in control once again.
One of the events that I've been to lately was Maybelline's Color Show and Garnier Olia exclusive previews. Yes, they're two very different brands but they had decided to combine both events together so that it'll be much more convenient not just for them but for us bloggers too! Here's how it went!:)

We got to preview Garnier's new product, Olia. Which is a specially formulated hair dye that does not cause any hair damage at all! We'd each walked away with a box of hair dye so I'm gonna try it out and let you guys know what I think alright? ;)
Apart from that, we also got an opportunity to do some handy crafts. The task was to create a flower hair clip out of felt, some beads and a few faux flowers. And here's my "not very well done" master piece. HAHAHA. Come on! We only had like 20 minutes to complete it? It was pretty fun and a good way to finally just sit down and do something different.

Next, it was time for some exciting action with Maybelline! We were first introduced to their new line of nail polishes and colored eyeliners called Color Show. I love how Maybelline is always full of energy and how cute their products always look.
Check out these range of Color Show nail polishes! There's gonna be 40 shades hitting your local drug stores soon and they're ONLY retailing at SGD$6.90. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?? And their quality isn't compromised. The Color Show nail polishes are of top standards! They dry really quickly once you've applied onto your nails and they glide on really smoothly. It's so worth it!
Also, seasonally, Maybelline will bring new varieties of Color Show nail polishes and I AM CERTAIN THAT YOU WILL LOVE THEM. They showed us the Sequin and Polka Dot ranges. Yes girls, Maybelline's very own Color Show Sequin nail polish. And the interesting one that put everyone in awe was the Polka Dot range. It's basically a normal nail polish that automatically produces polka dots as you apply it. So cool huh?? These exclusive ranges retails at SGD$7.90.
Just like Garnier's handy craft session, Maybelline had their very own too! We were creating these clutches during the Maybelline's handy craft session. Its so cute isn't it? They're almost like the sort you can find at H&M or even Topshop.
Also, we were even these stickers to paint using the Color Show nail polishes and eyeliners. Check out the intensity of the nail polish's color, Its really gorgeous and seriously, I'm not lying, they glide on REALLY WELL! It made the session really fun cause we could get creative with the kind of designs we wanna paint on the stickers.

And here's what we all took home with us! hehehe. Thanks Garnier and Maybelline for having us once again! I can't wait to try out the Olia hair dye and the Color Show nail polishes and eyeliners.

THIS IS SUCH A GEM. I totally jumped at the opportunity to get it when I was approached for this advert. It's really unique, one of the pieces that you can NEVER find anywhere else. Probably one of my favorite item in my cupboard right now cause not only is it really pretty, it's really comfy as well. Just look at the black lace!!!
