Vanity Trove is no stranger to us girls, I'm certain that you have heard of them before. Many of us immediately think of monthly beauty surprises that comes in a pleasantly packed box. In case you weren't aware, it is also an online community that shares and discover beauty-related content.
If you've ordered a VT box for yourself before, you'd understand the kind of excitement one would feel while unwrapping the box. With the profile, you'll also be able to follow other users and learn more about other beauty products through them.
The whole point of this idea is to educate yourself on the products before buying them straight off the shelve. So instead of getting the full size bottle of hair serum that you're not sure of, try the sample sized ones from VT first! It's a great way to save money.

I can't believe that the VT team designed my box with a pink theme. I absolutely love it! It's funny how clients/brands always associate me with the colour pink. I take that as a compliment. hahaha.
Anyway, you'll be able to find 6 - 10 different products in every box, all of which are curated by Vanity Trove using my beauty profile. In other words, the items in the box are products that VT probably think I would love. So if you think that you share the same beauty profile as me, like if you have the same skin type as me, or if you're just as tan as me or you have the same hair type as me, you might like the items in my Vanity Trove box ;)
Here are two items from the box that really stood out for me.
First, the Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion!
I've always wanted to try it out after reading so many great reviews on it. Apparently, it's great if you have pore issues and it leaves a very smooth matte finish - just what I look for in a foundation/bb cream etc. Also, it is known to have long-lasting power so you don't have to keep touching up - perfect if you have oily skin like me.
I have yet to try it so I can't offer any opinions. But I'll do a review if it really works!;)
I'm just glad that VT sent a sample to me, this way I can try it out first instead of purchasing the full sized compact which costs about $59 if I'm not wrong.
The second item that I was delighted to find in the VT box was a sample of Honey, a fragrance by Marc Jacobs.
I am ALL for perfumes and fragrances. Apart from Victoria's Secrets ones, I have always been a fan of Marc Jacob perfumes too. Well, I just really adore their quirky bottles. hehehe. As with the Laneige BB cushion, I haven't tried the Marc Jacob perfume sample either but it's been getting tons of great reviews too. If you're into fruity, floral scents, I guess you'll fancy Honey.
As it's name suggests, it smells like honey. But it isn't overpowering, so you can expect a sweet, innocent fragrant. Most people described it as the perfect summer perfume.
Thank you VT for including the Honey sample into my box as well. Now I can decide if I want to purchase the full sized bottle or if I should just stick with Victoria's Secrets ;)
Some other favourites include dark eye circle masks by My Beauty Diary (the brand that's widely known for amazing face masks) and Xylo Sweet, a low carbohydrate sweetener. You can find all of that in the Vanity Trove box with my picture and name on it!:)
